|New non-exec director at Visa Europe
Ingenico board member joins
Visa Europe has appointed Jean-Louis Constanza as a non-executive director.
Constanza has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sector, working across Europe from a base in France. In 1998 he set up Tele2, a new entrant to the telecoms market, before setting up the mobile telecoms business Ten in 2006.
Following the sale of Ten to Orange in 2008, Mr Constanza remained with the company, where he created and led the disruptive innovation unit Orange Vallée. He has been a board member of payments services and terminals provider Ingenico since 2014.
Gary Hoffman, chairman of the Visa Europe board, said: “Jean-Louis will bring a passion for innovation to the Visa Europe Board. His career in technology and telecommunications will be of great benefit at a time when payments increasingly become mobile as will his experience of working in both start-ups and large corporates.”
