|New EMEA MD for Sequent
Appointment to support “increasing demand” for HCE in region
Sequent Software has appointed Andrew Doyle as its MD for EMEA.
The California-based company provides digital issuance and open wallet platform-as-a-service.
Doyle will be based in London and have responsibility for directing and accelerating the growth and presence of Sequent's business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
"Andrew has a strong track record of selling emerging mobile security and payment solutions to global corporations," said John Kirst, Sequent’s chief revenue officer. "He will be instrumental in leading our EMEA market initiatives and helping Sequent serve the increasing demand we have seen in this key region for Host Card Emulation (HCE) mobile payments and digital issuance."
He joins the company from French digital security company Oberthur Technologies where he was head of sales solutions for Europe, Russia and CIS.
Prior to that Doyle headed sales, pre sales, marketing, delivery and support teams for both start-ups and large corporations having held senior positions at Telepo (acquired by Mitel Corp), Connexn Technologies (acquired by British Telecom), Global Crossing (acquired by Level 3 Communication) and Racal Telecom (acquired by Thomson-CSN, now Thales Group).
