Datacard appoints China president
Secure ID and card personalization solutions provider Datacard Group has appointed Timothy Cheung as its president for China.


Cheung was most recently president of SAP in China, and previously spent 22 years with IBM – where he held a variety of leadership roles, including vice president and general manager, global technology Services for IBM, Greater China. He also held leadership functions in the financial services sector during his tenure with IBM.

Cheung will report directly to the CEO, Todd Wilkinson, and be based out of the Datacard Beijing office, where he will be responsible for overseeing all of sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain in that region as he positions Datacard Group for additional growth in China and Hong Kong.

Datacard Group has also promoted Sherman Cai to vice president for China. Cai continues to be responsible for the sale of all Datacard products across Greater China.
