Oberthur names two new board members Former Atos Origin founder joins
Oberthur Technologies has appointed Bernard Bourigeaud and Sergio Giacoletto as members of its board.
Bourigeaud, founder of Atos Origin, holds positions on the boards of CGI in Canada and Amadeus in Spain. He is on the advisory board of investment banking group Jefferies and is also a member of HEC’s International Advisory Board and President of CEPS (Centre d’Etudes et de Prospective Stratégique).
Sergio Giacoletto-Roggio is a non-executive director of CSR, of Logica and of COLT SA in the UK. He is also chairman of Telepo AB’s board of directors. Between 2000 and 2008 he was an Oracle Corporation company officer and executive VP for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Bourigeaud and Giacoletto are also operating partners with Advent International, the majority shareholder of Oberthur Technologies. They will sit on Oberthur Technologies’ board alongside Xavier Drilhon, CEO of Oberthur Technologies, Cédric Chateau, MD with Advent International and Pascal Stefani, non-executive chairman of Oberthur Technologies’ board and MD with Advent International in Paris.
